Kate O’Shaughnessy is the author of THE LONELY HEART OF MAYBELLE LANE, a debut contemporary middle grade forthcoming from Knopf Books for Young Readers in 2020. She is a graduate of Yale University, and after college spent time working in restaurants in New York City. She now lives with her husband in Berkeley, California.
